Plumbing

I have been a member of the Guitar Noise community in last few years. I have found the answers to my questions and many friends around the world. And I have tried to offer my help and to take part in activities proposed by administrators and the other members.

One of those activities, probably my favorite, is performed by the Sunday Songwriters’ Group. Basically, each Sunday some guidelines are proposed for writing a song during that week. The lyrics must be posted in a specific forum where authors and participants get and give feedback. I am not good with words so I never participated actively in that forum although I always followed it.

Some weeks ago I guessed I could use a different approach for participating in the activity: to use the guidelines for a drawing every week!

David Hodge, lead editor for Guitar Noise and moderator of the Group wrote the next guidelines for the SSG Year 9, Week 22:

Your task this week is a little harder as you’re going to be writing about work, but (you knew this was coming right?) you can’t write about any job that you’ve actually had. Has to be a job that you’ve never done.

The job is plumbing and this is the drawing. I used a Faber-Castell black finepen for the lines and graphite pencils for the shading.

The drawings of the previous SSG assignments can be viewed on Flickr or on the Vinyl Eraser SSG page.
